Photography was my childhood hobby.
My interest reawakened when I inherited an old SLR. I rediscovered photography as an art form – using, shape and form, texture, patterns and above all, the magic of light. Since then I have sought these elements in cityscapes, architecture, in man-made objects and nature. I capture what I see for the creative joy of it and share my images as a way of saying: “Look at this!”
I find inspiration in the work of the masters and contemporary artists and I never forget the words of Henri Cartier-Bresson that “It’s not the subject matter that counts, it is the light.”
