Photography was my childhood hobby.
My interest reawakened when I inherited an old SLR. I rediscovered photography as an art form – using, shape and form, texture, patterns and above all, the magic of light. Since then I have sought these elements in cityscapes, architecture, in man-made objects and nature. I am always inspired by the words of Henri Cartier- Bresson that “It’s not the subject matter that counts, it is the light.”
I find inspiration in the work of the masters and contemporary artists.
